8000 versus 8010
The 8000 manual lists 2 GB memory and 8 GB storage; StreamView’s 8010 documentation lists 4 GB and 32 GB. These are different model specifications, not free storage figures.
The 8010 manual also specifies Wi-Fi 6, while the 8000 manual lists 802.11ac. Network stability still depends on router placement and the environment.
Before choosing an older box
Verify current software updates, regional app availability and any subscription requirements. A device sold by an individual may have been reset or configured differently from a new retailer unit.
